The job is done for now. The 3 receptacles on the top are split,
left side is switched, right side is always on, all of them are GFCI protected.
The countertop looks more cluttered, but there is only one more receptacle
total, they are just spaced to meet common sense and NEC. 3 20amp circuits
provide the power. There is also a switch and lead for the future garbage
disposal, as well as a lead for the dishwasher where previosly a hot line
was drilled through the floor under the old unit.
I took the opportunity of having no walls on the other side
to move the existing receptacle to the left and added one on the right. I'm
not sure why they had only one receptacle there and it was directly over the
sink, but it's easy enough to fix. The power had been tapped from a kitchen
line so I ran a new one for just the bathroom. I also added a switched lead
for a light that will be added soon, as well as a mirror.
